My Life’s Narrative

I'm Lorna Carrara, a multifaceted individual with roles as an Author, Inspirational Speaker, Prayer Counselor, Recovery Minister, Mentor, and friend. My life's narrative is a triumph over adversity, a journey of profound transformation, and unwavering faith.

My ministry began over 38 years ago when I met Jesus. His love began healing and dismantling the protective structures life had built around my heart. They were created from a life of trauma and loss. I found such freedom in Christ I began sharing and giving back, helping others on their journey to healing and freedom. Now, as an Author, Speaker, Prayer Counselor, Recovery Minister, Mentor, and friend, I speak the truth in love and help to change vision which changes future. As it is written in Romans 12:1-2 "Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect."

I have been married to my best friend for over 26 years. We live in Illinois and enjoy many outdoor activities and our Golden Retrievers.
